WallsnFalls
is the culmination of eighteen years of landscaping and construction experience. More than that, it is a fulfillment of a desire to enjoy the outdoors and create something tangible that has lasting beauty and value. Building spectacular water features, retaining walls and flagstone patios is the outgrowth of that. What other kind of construction gives someone the capacity to produce a work of art and enjoy doing it? The wife and I also enjoy hopping in the plow trucks in the winter and pushing some snow around.

My life started here in Colorado in a small town just southwest of Pueblo. It was a beautiful little town of about 1,000 people nestled in the foothills. As I grew up, I came to appreciate the wonders of God’s creation and the awesome beauty that Colorado offers. I spent my summers in high school and college doing outside work, mowing lawns and various landscaping. In 1993 I took over a landscaping business and used it to put myself through college, going to the University of Southern Colorado where I graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. I chose to continue the landscaping work I had been doing despite now being overeducated and stayed in the Pueblo area. I moved to Denver in late 1999 and started work for a retaining wall company. While working for this company, the owner decided to send me to a waterfall class held at Rocky Mountain Tranquility in Loveland. It was from this experience that I fell in love with the idea of creating custom water features. I also attended Aquascape Design’s Build-a-Pond Day and AquaClass seminar further enhancing my knowledge of and fondness for water features. It became apparent that in order for me to pursue this line of work I needed to start my own company which I did in the summer of 2002.
